Blind Assessment
Balanced, rich-toned. Jasmine, Meyer lemon, cocoa nib, ripe peach, sandalwood in aroma and cup. Crisply sweet acidity; silky, very buoyant mouthfeel. Gently drying floral-toned finish.
Notes
Produced at Finca La Bastilla, entirely of the Geisha variety of Arabica, and processed by the washed method (fruit skin and pulp removed before drying). Beacon Coffee Roasters is a Bozeman, Montana-based roaster specializing in small-batch, fair trade-certified coffees from all over the world. Visit www.beaconroasters.com for more information.
Bottom Line
A rare Nicaragua-grown Geisha with delicate floral notes and layered fruit, supported by cocoa nib and sandalwood complexity.
