Blind Assessment
Sweetly balanced, chocolate-toned. Baked apple, milk chocolate, cashew, orange zest and caramel in aroma and cup. Softly bright acidity; full, creamy-smooth mouthfeel. The sweet-toned finish has notes of milk chocolate, cashew and caramel.
Notes
Produced at Kona Earth, entirely of the Typica variety of Arabica, and processed by the washed method (fruit skin and pulp removed before drying). Kona Earth is a family-owned coffee farm and roastery in Holualoa, Hawaiʻi, where Steve and Joanie Wynn grow, roast and ship 100% Kona coffee directly from their estate. Since taking over the farm in 2021, the Wynns have invested in improved processing and roasting while emphasizing fair-wage labor, sustainable farming practices and community support through their Care In Every Cup program. Visit www.konaearth.com for more information.
Bottom Line
A comforting, classically styled Kona Typica emphasizing chocolate, nut and caramel sweetness in a full-bodied, smooth and balanced cup.
