Intense; spicy and floral; richly dry. Black currant, lavender, mulling spices, anise, a hint of roasted cacao nib in aroma and cup. Bright acidity; lightly syrupy mouthfeel. The lavender, black currant and anise suggestions all deeply saturate a roundly drying finish.
Produced entirely from trees of the admired SL28 and SL34 varieties of Arabica. Despite grower discontent and urban encroachment on prime coffee lands, Kenya continues to produce some of the world’s most elegant and distinctive coffees.
