Blind Assessment
Juicy-bright, fruit-anchored. Pink grapefruit, magrut lime leaf, cocoa nib, blackberry and freesia in aroma and cup. Sparkling acidity; crisp, satiny-smooth mouthfeel. Citrus- and cocoa-toned finish.
Notes
Produced by 80 smallholding members of the Rungeto Farmers Cooperative Society, led by Samuel Karanja, entirely of the SL28 variety of Arabica, and processed by the traditional washed method (fruit skin and pulp removed before drying). Corvus Coffee Roasters is based in Denver, Colorado and specializes in rare and exclusive coffees from some of the finest growers in the world. Corvus particularly focuses on processing methods and selective harvesting, which result in small, seasonal micro-lots of uniquely sweet, vibrant, and clean flavor profiles. Bottom Line
Complex citrus and rich cocoa nib frame this classic Kenya, supported by notes of dark berry and delicate florals.
