Blind Assessment
Bright, juicy, sweetly herbaceous. Ripe peach, tangerine, magnolia, marjoram, toffee and cocoa nib in aroma and cup. Resonant, juicy acidity; plush syrupy mouthfeel. Very long, flavor-saturated finish that fulfills the promise of the cup.
Notes
Produced by smallholding members of the Gitwe Farmers Cooperative Society, from trees of the Batian, SL28, SL34 and Ruiru 11 varieties of Arabica, and processed at the Karinga Factory by the washed method (fruit skiing and pulp removed before drying). Founded in 1990, Roadmap CoffeeWorks, formerly Lexington Coffee Roasters, is an award-winning artisan roasting company based in Lexington, Virginia. Bottom Line
An all-around beauty of a Kenya, with rich cocoa, sweet floral, complex citrus and delicate herb notes in harmony throughout the profile.
