Blind Assessment
Delicate, floral, and crisply sweet. White peach, jasmine, Meyer lemon, almond brittle, and white chocolate in aroma and cup. Bright, finely structured acidity; delicate, silky mouthfeel. The finish is clean and lingering, with white peach, jasmine, and almond brittle notes.
Notes
Produced at Finca Santa Lucia (run by Fincas Mierisch), entirely of the Gesha variety of Arabica, and processed by the washed method (fruit skin and pulp removed before drying). Bean & Bean is owned and operated by a mother-daughter Q-grader duo, Rachel and Jiyoon Han. They currently have three cafes in New York and New Jersey and a roastery in Queens. Bottom Line
A graceful washed Honduras Gesha that emphasizes delicate florals, stone fruit, and citrus, with an elegant structure and quietly persistent sweetness.
