Blind Assessment

Radiant and intricately layered. Notes of mango, pink grapefruit zest, honeysuckle, vanilla and cocoa nib in aroma and cup. Bright, winey acidity; viscous, buoyant mouthfeel. The finish is long and harmoniously sweet, carrying fruit and floral tones alongside subtle spice and chocolate.

Notes

This exceptional coffee was selected as the No. 9 coffee on Coffee Review’s list of the Top 50 Coffees of 2025. Produced by Pedro Turcios of Finca Maria Bonita, entirely of the Geisha variety of Arabica, and processed by an extended-fermentation anaerobic method. Coffee Cycle Roasting is a San Diego-based specialty roaster founded by cycling enthusiasts. Visit www.coffeecycleroasting.com for more information.

Bottom Line

An exceptional extended-fermentation Geisha from Honduras — tropical, floral and deeply sweet, balancing exuberant aromatics with clarity and grace.
