Blind Assessment
Evaluated as espresso. Deep-toned, richly floral. Magnolia, pomegranate, almond butter, tangerine and cedar in aroma and small cup. Satiny, viscous mouthfeel; exceptionally sweet, floral-toned finish. In cappuccino format, robustly floral and chocolaty, with a sweet-tart base.
Notes
Produced by Sergio Acajabon of Finca El General, entirely of the Geisha variety of Arabica, and processed by the washed method (fruit skin and pulp removed before drying). Imported by Kakalove Cafe vis direct trade. Kakalove Café is a nano-roaster located in the small city of Chia-Yi in Taiwan that strives to procure and roast the finest quality coffee. Bottom Line
A Guatemala Geisha espresso that delivers floral elegance, sweet citrus lift and impressive depth, compelling both in the straight shot and with milk.
