Blind Assessment
Cleanly articulated and bright. Green apple, white peach, sweet lime, nougat and cocoa powder in aroma and cup. Lively acidity;crisp, satiny body. Tidy finish with citrus and light chocolate notes.
Notes
Produced by Maria Gaspar Escobar, from trees of the Catuai, Bourbon and Caturra varieties of Arabica, and processed by the washed (method (fruit skin and pulp removed before drying). Imported by Atlas Coffee Roasters. Rick and Randy Evans founded Evans Brothers Coffee in 2009, focused on sourcing and roasting the finest small lots of seasonally available coffees in a context of sustainability and responsibility. Bottom Line
A well-structured Huehuetenango that showcases precision and freshness, pairing crisp fruit with subtle cocoa depth in a classic washed style.
