Blind Assessment
Evaluated as espresso. Juicy and sweetly perfumed. Cherry cordial, blood orange zest, hibiscus, baking chocolate and almond in aroma and small cup. Plush, creamy mouthfeel; fruit-forward finish with a soft chocolate base. In cappuccino format, the fruit tones mellow, emphasizing baking chocolate and roasted almond.
Notes
Produced at Finca Santa Maria, entirely of the Venecia variety of Arabica, and processed by a cofermentation with undisclosed fruit nectar, then dried in the whole fruit. Imported by Jak International Trades Co. Ltd. GK Coffee is a nano-roastery in Yilan, Taiwan, that offers both retail and wholesale coffee. Bottom Line
An adventurous fermented Guatemala SOE that brings expressive fruit and floral character to the fore, remaining balanced and cocoa-centered in cappuccino prep.
