Blind Assessment
Elegant, radiant, complex. Narcissus, Meyer lemon, passionfruit, bergamot and wild honey in aroma and cup, with a cocoa nib throughline supporting all. Delicately bright, sparkling acidity; silky, buoyant mouthfeel. The finish is long, resonant, and multi-layered, with complex fruit, floral, and sweet spice notes.
Notes
This exceptional coffee was selected as the No. 1 coffee on Coffee Review’s list of the Top 50 Coffees of 2025. Produced by Aníbal Sánchez of Finca Siria, entirely of the Geisha variety of Arabica, and processed by the washed method (fruit skin and pulp removed before drying). JBC Coffee Roasters’ vision is simple: “Let the coffee lead the way” through sourcing and roasting the best coffees available and rewarding the farmers who grow those coffees with substantial premiums. Bottom Line
A dazzling example of washed Colombia Geisha — layered, floral, and citrus-driven with tropical-fruit depth. Exceptional clarity and balance, offered at an unusually accessible price for a coffee of this caliber.
