Blind Assessment
Floral-toned, richly sweet. Heirloom roase, red grape, cocoa powder, bergamot, sandalwood in aroma and cup. Briskly sweet acidity; dense, velvety body. The finish lingers with floral, citrus and cocoa notes.
Notes
Produced by smallholding farmers, from trees of local landrace varieties of Arabica, and processed by the anaerobic natural method, in which, after skin and pulp removal, fermentation takes place in a hermetically sealed vessel before the beans are de-pulped and dried. Linsun Coffee Roasters is a Taiwan-based roaster specializing in dark-roast coffees. Visit www.treeman.tw for more information
Bottom Line
A darker-roast interpretation of an anaerobic Ethiopia that successfully preserves floral complexity while adding richness and depth.
