Blind Assessment
Richly sweet, fruit-saturated. Blueberry, tea rose, dark chocolate, raw honey, and tangerine zest in aroma and cup. Balanced, round acidity; creamy, very full mouthfeel. The finish is long and layered, with berry and floral notes lingering over deep cocoa sweetness.
Notes
Produced by smallholding farmers in the Bensa District of the Sidamo Zone, from selections of landrace varieties of Arabica native to Ethiopia, and processed by the natural method (dried in the whole fruit). 1980 Cafe is a Tainan City, Taiwan-based specialty coffee roaster. Bottom Line
A lush Ethiopia natural cup — deeply sweet, berry- and floral-toned with elegant structure and complexity.
