Blind Assessment
Radiant, floral-driven, impeccably structured. White peach, bergamot, honeysuckle, cocoa nib and Meyer lemon in aroma and cup. Bright, juicy acidity; silky, buoyant mouthfeel. The finish is exceptionally long, carrying layered floral and citrus notes with remarkable clarity.
Notes
Produced by smallholding farmers, from trees of local landrace varieties of Arabica, and processed by the washed method (fruit skin and pulp removed before drying). Established in 2010, Red Rooster is an organic-certified micro-roaster focusing on socially conscious, high-quality coffee. Visit redroostercoffee.com or call 540-745-7338 for more information.
Bottom Line
A beautifully articulated washed Ethiopia that showcases the elegance of West Arsi coffees through vibrant florals, refined citrus notes and a seamless, lingering sweetness.
