Blind Assessment
Fragrant, fruit-forward. Strawberry, blueberry, orange zest, hibiscus, and baking chocolate in aroma and cup. Briskly sweet acidity; medium-weight, plush, syrupy mouthfeel. The finish is persistent and sweet, carrying red fruit and floral tones into soft chocolate depth.
Notes
Produced by smallholding women farmers, from local landrace varieties of Arabica, and processed by the natural method (dried in the whole fruit). City Boy Coffee is a specialty roaster based in Long Island City, New York. Visit www.cityboycoffee.com for more information.
Bottom Line
An inviting natural Gedeb that balances expressive fruit and bright florals with grounding chocolate notes — engaging and harmonious.
