Blind Assessment
Fruit- and floral-driven, richly sweet. Notes of ripe blueberry, plum, and candied mandarin zest up front, supported by jasmine-like florals and undertones of milk chocolate. Brisk, gently wine-toned acidity; plush, syrupy mouthfeel. The finish is resonant and flavor-saturated, centered around blueberry and mandarin.
Notes
Produced by smallholding farmers, from local landrace varieties of Arabica, and processed by the natural method (dried in the whole fruit). Intuition Coffee is a specialty roaster and cafe based in Peoria, Illinois. Visit www.intuitioncoffee.com for more information.
Bottom Line
A sweetly fruit-forward natural-processed Ethiopia with layers of berry, citrus, and floral complexity, balanced by grounding cocoa.
