Blind Assessment
Elegant, tea-like and vividly floral. Jasmine, bergamot, white peach, cocoa nib and lemon verbena in aroma and cup. Bright, juicy acidity; crisp, silky mouthfeel. The finish is exceptionally long, carrying layered citrus, floral and cocoa notes with remarkable clarity.
Notes
Produced by smallholding farmers, entirely of landrace selections of Arabica long grown in the region, and processed by the traditional washed method (fruit skin and pulp removed before drying). Magnolia Coffee is a Charlotte, North Carolina-based specialty roaster whose mission is to use sustainably sourced coffees to make a difference in the lives of coffee workers and to foster a socially conscious community with cause-supporting coffees. Bottom Line
A beautifully realized washed Halo Beriti that captures the hallmark elegance of Yirgacheffe through luminous florals, refined citrus notes and an impressively persistent finish.
