Blind Assessment
Sweet, rounded and softly fruit-toned. Dried blueberry, red plum, milk chocolate, orange zest and brown sugar in aroma and cup. Soft, fruit-toned acidity; delicate, smooth mouthfeel. The quiet finish leads with notes of red plum, milk chocolate and brown sugar.
Notes
Produced by smallholding farmers, from trees of local landrace varieties of Arabica, and processed by the natural method (dried in the whole fruit). Encounter Coffee Roasters is a Taipei-based specialty coffee roaster and cafe. Visit Encounter’s Instagram for more information.
Bottom Line
An approachable Guji natural offering mellow fruit and chocolate sweetness in a softly structured, uncomplicated cup.
