Blind Assessment
Gracefully aromatic, bright and complexly layered. Apricot, pomelo, honeysuckle, white tea and cocoa powder in aroma and cup. Lively, citrus-toned acidity; light, silky mouthfeel. The finish is long and delicately aromatic, with apricot, honeysuckle and white tea notes front and center.
Notes
Produced by smallholding farmers, from trees of local landrace varieties of Arabica, and processed at Kedir Hassan’s Benti Nenka Station by the washed method (fruit skin and pulp removed before drying). Heat Coffee is a nano-roaster in Taipei, Taiwan that strives to procure and roast the finest-quality coffee. Visit the Heat Coffee Facebook page for more information.
Bottom Line
An elegant washed Guji that emphasizes stone fruit, citrus and delicate florals, with tea and cocoa nuances adding layers to an especially bright, graceful cup.
