Blind Assessment
Vibrant, honey-sweet and deeply aromatic. Notes of red plum, jasmine, orange zest, toffee and baking chocolate in aroma and cup. Juicy, balanced acidity; creamy mouthfeel. The finish is smooth and lingering, offering fruit and floral tones.
Notes
Produced by smallholding farmers, entirely of the 74158 variety of Arabica, and processed at the Oloroso Station by the yellow honey method, in which a small amount of fruit flesh is left on the beans during the drying process. Heat Coffee is a nano-roaster in Taipei, Taiwan that strives to procure and roast the finest-quality coffee. Visit the Heat Coffee Facebook page for more information.
Bottom Line
A lively and enticing yellow-honey Ethiopia — sweetly fruit-forward and aromatic, balanced by a supple structure and rich texture.
