Blind Assessment
Bright, layered, floral-toned. Notes of pink grapefruit, white peach, and red currant lead, supported by honeysuckle-like florals and a throughline of cocoa nib. Crisp, lively acidity; silky, buoyant mouthfeel. Sweetly tart, quite long finish.
Notes
Produced by Tamiru and Messi Tadesse, entirely of the 74158 of Arabica, and processed by the washed method (fruit skin and pulp removed before drying). Founded in 2013, modcup focuses on fresh roasting and distinctive natural-processed coffees. This special release is available to members of modcup’s Deepcuts list. Bottom Line
A vibrant, high-grown washed Ethiopia with dynamic fruit and floral character balanced by subtle cocoa. A pristine, elegant cup that rewards careful attention, offered as part of modcup’s exclusive Deepcuts program.
