Blind Assessment: Evaluated as espresso produced as a ristretto 25ml (.85-ounce) shot using a Nespresso capsule espresso brewer with whole milk heated using a conventional steam wand. Delicate, floral-toned. Honeysuckle, white peach, lime zest, cocoa nib, cedar in aroma and small cup. Silky, buoyant mouthfeel. The elegant finish centers around notes of honeysuckle and lime zest, with cocoa nib lingering into the long. Cappuccino-scaled milk further amplifies floral and chocolate tones.
Notes: One of the world’s most celebrated coffees presented in a Nespresso-compatible capsule. With its bold, boat-shaped beans and distinctive floral and crisply cacao-toned cup, Geisha (also Gesha) continues to be one of the world’s most celebrated and sought-after coffee varieties, and the Hacienda La Esmeralda Geishas remain among the most authentic. This is a wet-processed or “washed” version. Difference Coffee aims to present only the finest of the world’s coffees as determined by green coffee competitions and other measures of distinction, tactfully roasted and presented in capsules compatible with Nespresso capsule brewing systems. The Bottom Line: A nuanced, subtle washed Panama Geisha in Nespresso-compatible format: floral, delicate, complexly layered.
