Blind Assessment
Sweetly fruit-forward, harmoniously rich. Red currant, dark chocolate, brown sugar, tamarind, candied violet in aroma and cup. Crisp, winey acidity; syrupy-smooth body. The finish is long and layered, centering fruit and floral tones over a deep chocolate base into the long.
Notes
This exceptional coffee was selected as the No. 28 coffee on Coffee Review’s list of the Top 50 Coffees of 2025. Produced by Anny Ruth Pimentel of Finca La Gloria, and processed by the natural method (dried in the whole fruit). Drink Coffee Do Stuff operates a roastery in Truckee, California, and a coffee shop in nearby Incline Village, Nevada. Visit www.drinkcoffeedostuff.com for more information.
Bottom Line
A vibrant, polished natural-process El Salvador from celebrated producer Anny Ruth Pimentel — lush red fruit and floral aromatics meet cocoa depth and structure for a cup that’s both vibrant and luxuriously smooth.
