Blind Assessment
Richly aromatic, warmly fruit-forward. Notes of ripe strawberry, fig syrup, cocoa butter, vanilla bean and mandarin zest in aroma and cup. Crisp, sweetly tart acidity; round, creamy mouthfeel. The finish is cocoa-leaning and gently citrusy, with lingering hints of strawberry and vanilla.
Notes
Produced by Anny Ruth Pimentel of Finca Loma La Gloria, entirely of the Red Bourbon variety of Arabica, and processed by the natural method (dried in the whole fruit). Old World Coffee Roasters is a specialty coffee roaster with cafes in Reno and Carson City, Nevada. Visit OldWorldCoffeeRoasters.com for more information.
Bottom Line
A rich, fruit-saturated El Salvador Red Bourbon with balanced sweetness, plush mouthfeel, and inviting berry–cocoa complexity.
