Blind Assessment
Sweet, complex, deep-toned. Notes of ripe plum, tangerine, cocoa nib, honeysuckle, almond. Gently bright acidity; round, velvety body. The finish leads with fruit and floral notes, supported by a persistent cocoa-toned depth.
Notes
Produced by Pablo Ponce of Finca Perla Chiquita, entirely of the Sidra variety of Araica, and processed by the washed method (fruit skin and pulp removed before drying). The Westside Coffee Company is a Utah-based specialty coffee roaster and cafe. Visit www.thewestsidecoffeecompany.com for more information.
Bottom Line
Bargain alert! This spot-on Ecuador Sidra is worth a detour at this price, delivering fruit, floral, and cocoa depth.
