Blind Assessment
Sweetly fruit-forward, balanced, and roundly rich. Strawberry, honey, cocoa nib, almond, lime zest in aroma and cup. Brisk, integrated acidity; very syrupy mouthfeel. Long, clean finish carrying honeyed fruit and cocoa through to a gentle, nutty close.
Notes
Produced by Diego Abarca of Finca San Calletano, entirely of the Catuai variety of Arabica, and processed by the natural method (dried in the whole fruit). Duluth Coffee is a cafe and wholesale specialty roaster founded in 2012 in downtown Duluth, Minnesota, by Eric Faust. Visit www.duluthcoffeecompany.com for further information.
Bottom Line
A great value in a quality Costa Rica natural — lively yet balanced, with ripe fruit sweetness, cocoa depth, and an inviting honeyed warmth that make it both accessible and distinctive.
