Blind Assessment
Sweetly balanced, gently cocoa-toned. Dried red apple, milk chocolate, orange zest, almond butter and chamomile in aroma and cup. Softly brisk acidity; smooth, rounded mouthfeel. The finish is clean and lingering, carrying notes of cocoa, citrus and roasted almond.
Notes
Comprised of natural-processed lots sourced from smallholder producers across the coffee-growing regions of southern Mexico, and processed using ethyl acetate, a solvent derived from sugarcane. Paradise prides itself on quality and freshness, craft-roasting coffees in small batches only after orders are placed. Visit www.paradiseroasters.com or call 808-498-4048 for more information.
Bottom Line
An impressively articulate decaf that preserves the sweetness, balance and nuance of fine Mexico naturals while sacrificing very little to the decaffeination process.
