Blind Assessment:

Rich-toned, savory-sweet. Pie cherry, violet, ginger, pipe tobacco, roasted cacao nib in aroma and cup. Deep, sweetly savory in structure; velvety-smooth mouthfeel. The crisp finish consolidates to notes of pie cherry and pipe tobacco in the short with hints of ginger resurfacing in the long.

This coffee tied for the second-highest rating in a tasting of 55 Nicaragua coffees for Coffee Review‘s October 2017 tasting report. The Bottom Line: Original in aromatics and deep in structure. Savory-leaning with rich sweetness and a spice throughline.
