Blind Assessment
Sweet, clean and balanced. Cane sugar, Meyer lemon, cocoa nib, roasted almond, Bosc pear in aroma and cup. Brightly sweet, sparkling acidity; light, silky-smooth body. Crisply sweet finish, with lemon and cocoa nib carrying through.
Notes
Produced at Hacienda Rio Negro (a farm owned by La Minita Corp.) and processed by the washed method (fruit skin and pulp removed before drying). Goodboybob is a small-batch specialty coffee roaster with a roastery and two cafes in the greater Los Angeles area. Visit www.goodboybob.com for more information.
Bottom Line
A refreshing classic washed Costa Rica: bright yet sweet, perfect for those who prefer a crisp, lighter-bodied cup.
