Blind Assessment
Sweetly floral and fruit-toned. Narcissus, red currant, baking chocolate, sorghum, pink grapefruit in aroma and cup. Lively, well-structured acidity; creamy-smooth body. Crisp finish with honeyed florals and baking chocolate rounding the fruit.
Notes
Produced by smallholding farmers, entirely of the Caturra variety of Arabica, and processed by the red honey method, in which some of the fruit flesh is left on the beans during the drying process. Imported by Yongye Trading Company. Dawn Isle Cafe Studio is a specialty coffee roaster in Taipei. Visit Dawn Isle’s Instagram profile for more information.
Bottom Line
A graceful Costa Rica red honey, bright and floral, with chocolaty depth and citrus complexity.
