Blind Assessment
Evaluated as espresso. Richly sweet, fruit-driven, with notes of blackberry, dried mango, dark chocolate, cedar and almond. Syrupy-smooth mouthfeel; chocolaty, cedary finish. Exceptionally resonant in cappuccio format, echoing the sweet citrus and rich florals of the straight shot.
Notes
Processed by the natural method (dried in the whole fruit). Kakalove Café is a nano-roaster located in the small city of Chia-Yi in Taiwan that strives to procure and roast the finest quality coffee. Visit www.kakalovecafe.com.tw or email kahiyuho@gmail.com for more information.
Bottom Line
A versatile Costa Rica natural that excels both as a straight espresso and in milk: fruit-saturated yet balanced, indulgent without being heavy.
