Blind Assessment
Refined, cocoa-toned and gently floral. Red plum, baking chocolate, hazelnut, freesia and sweet lime in aroma and cup. Smooth, rounded acidity; full, creamy body. The finish is long and harmonious, carrying sweet nut and citrus zest notes.
Notes
Produced by Harry Odio of Hacienda La Minita, from trees of the Bourbon and Caturra varieties of Arabica, and processed by the washed method (fruit skin and pulp removed before drying). Bear Lake Coffee Co., a B Corp-certified coffeehouse and roastery located in Barronett, Wisconsin, is committed to sustainability through its Coffee with a Purpose™ initiative, which ensures that farmers receive compensation well above the Fairtrade Premium for their exceptional small-batch coffee. Bottom Line
A classic Tarrazú profile delivered with elegance — chocolate-driven, quietly complex and beautifully balanced.
