Blind Assessment
Sweetly nuanced, softly fruit-forward. Golden raisin, orange blossom, milk chocolate, baked pear and roasted almond in aroma and cup. Gently bright acidity; satiny, viscous mouthfeel. The finish is crisp and lingering, with notes of cocoa, honeyed fruit and toasted nut.
Notes
Produced at Aromas de Chirripó Farm, entirely of the Catuai variety of Arabica, and processed by the honey method, in which some of the fruit flesh is left on the beans during the drying process. Based in Phoenix, Arizona, Press Coffee roasts in small batches to ensure the highest quality and consistency, while sharing their knowledge and passion for coffee with customers. Bottom Line
A nicely balanced Costa Rica honey that pairs gentle fruit sweetness with chocolate richness and a supple, energetic mouthfeel.
