Blind Assessment
Elegant, floral and fruit-saturated. Notes of pineapple, white peach, honeysuckle, lemon balm and cacao husk in aroma and cup. Bright, crystalline acidity; silky, tea-like body. The finish is long and resonant, carried by pineapple and honeysuckle tones.
Notes
A collaboration between Little Waves and Standart, this coffee was produced by José Julián Giraldo of Finca Las Marias, entirely of the Gesha variety of Arabica, and processed by an elaborate proprietary washed method (learn more here). Little Waves Coffee is a Latina-owned, women-forward company that provides livable wages for its diverse team. Visit www.littlewaves.coffee for more information.
Bottom Line
A radiant washed Gesha from Quindío — refined, perfumed and gracefully structured, balancing vivid fruit and floral character with a compelling, deeply sweet structure.
