Blind Assessment
Lush, perfumed, and deeply fruit-toned. Raspberry, yellow peach, passion fruit, jasmine, and cocoa nib in aroma and cup. Bright, juicy acidity; plush, syrupy-smooth mouthfeel. The finish is exceptionally long and expressive, with raspberry, jasmine, and cocoa nib lingering.
Notes
Produced by Lisandro Cardenas of Finca Las Brisas, entirely of the Gesha variety of Arabica, and processed by the natural method (dried in the whole fruit). Intuition Coffee is a specialty roaster and cafe based in Peoria, Illinois. Visit www.intuitioncoffee.com for more information.
Bottom Line
An elegant yet exuberant natural-process Gesha that layers ripe fruit and heady florals over a deep cocoa sweetness, with impressive structure and persistence.
