Blind Assessment
Richly fruit-toned, sweetly fermenty. Passion fruit, pineapple yogurt, cocoa nib, magnolia, ginger root in aroma and cup. Bright, juicy acidity; plush, syrupy-smooth mouthfeel. The resonant finish centers around notes of tropical fruit and magnolia blossom.
Notes
Produced by Julio Madrid of Finca Milán, entirely of the Caturra variety of Arabica, and processed by a proprietary “nitro-washed” process, an advanced adaptation of anaerobic fermentation. Indianapolis-based Tinker Coffee believes that coffee should be available and accessible, not pretentious and intimidating. Tinker has a roastery and three cafes, and it offers courses on roasting, brewing, cupping, and other coffee education topics. Visit www.tinkercoffee.com for more information.
Bottom Line
A lush, process-driven Caturra with focused fruit and florals supported by resonant cocoa nib and fresh ginger throughline.
