Blind Assessment
Intensely floral, honey-toned, multi-dimensional. Orange blossom, white nectarine, acacia honey, blood orange and cocoa nib in aroma and cup. Sparkling, finely etched acidity; plush, nectar-smooth mouthfeel. The finish is remarkably long, unfolding in layers of flowers, stone fruit and sweet citrus.
Notes
Produced by Jhon Samboni of Finca Santa Barbara, entirely of the Geisha variety of Arabica, and processed by the honey method, in which some of the fruit flesh is left on the beans during the drying process. Cozy House Coffee is a Taiwan-based specialty coffee roaster and an SCA Authorized Trainer (AST). For more information, visit shop.cozyhousecoffee.com.
Bottom Line
A stunning honey-processed Colombia Geisha that combines exquisite floral lift with lush sweetness and impeccable structure, yielding a cup of exceptional refinement.
