Blind Assessment
Expressive, complexly layered. Pink grapefruit zest, cranberry, orange blossom, vanilla yogurt, white peach and cocoa nib in aroma and cup. Sparkling, wine-bright acidity; rounded, buoyant body. The finish lingers with lactic creaminess and citrus-framed sweetness.
Notes
Produced at Finca Río Negro, entirely of the Pink Bourbon variety of Arabica, and processed by the washed method, with the addition of lactic acid bacteria to the anaerobic fermentation. Imported by CPIP. GK Coffee is a nano-roastery in Yilan, Taiwan, that offers both retail and wholesale coffee. For more information, visit www.gkcoffee.com.tw or email gkcoffee2015@gmail.com.
Bottom Line
A thoughtful, subtly lactic-fermented Pink Bourbon that showcases how lactic influence can amplify clarity and texture, delivering fruit and floral lift with inviting depth and range.
