Blind Assessment
Lively, delicate and sweetly floral. Red currant, white peach, cocoa nib, hibiscus and mandarin zest in aroma and cup. Bright, juicy acidity; delicate, silky mouthfeel. The finish is long and refreshing, carrying sweet-tart fruit, florals and cocoa nib into the long.
Notes
Produced by smallholding farmers of the Cooperativa de Caficultores El Bombo, entirely of the Pink Bourbon variety of Arabica, and processed by the washed method (fruit skin and pulp removed before drying). Rusty Dog Coffee is a Madison, Wisconsin-based specialty coffee roaster. Visit www.rustydogcoffee.com for more information.
Bottom Line
A graceful washed Pink Bourbon that pairs vibrant red fruit and floral lift with exceptional clarity, lively structure and a lingering, elegant finish.
