Blind Assessment
Crisply sweet, balanced. Goji berry, mandarin, freesia, thyme, cocoa nib in aroma and cup. Briskly sweet acidity; lightly satiny, very smooth mouthfeel. Cocoa-toned finish with notes of freesia and thyme.
Notes
Produced by smallholding farmers in the Argentina and Pitalito Municipalities, entirely of the Chiroso variety of Arabica, and processed by the washed method (fruit skin and pulp removed before drying). Speedwell Coffee, based in Plymouth, Massachusetts, is a wholesale and retail specialty roaster particularly dedicated to offering attractive coffee subscription plans. Bottom Line
Notes of spice-toned florals and cocoa nib carry this understated Colombia Chiroso that’s satisfying in its balance.
