Blind Assessment
Richly aromatic, fruit-forward and sweetly savory. Black cherry, dried strawberry, blood orange, hibiscus and baker’s chocolate in aroma and cup. Briskly wine-toned acidity; full, velvety mouthfeel. The finish is fruit-sweet and persistent, with black cherry, hibiscus and baker’s chocolate notes.
Notes
Produced by smallholding farmers, entirely of the Red Bourbon variety of Arabica, and processed by the natural method (dried in the whole fruit). Imported by Red Fox Coffee Merchants. Telluride Coffee Roasters is a Colorado-based specialty roaster founded by coffee veteran Mick Hill in 1991. For more information, visit telluridecoffeeroasters.net.
Bottom Line
A generous natural Red Bourbon that combines ripe fruit and floral complexity with savory depth and bittersweet chocolate in a fruity, satisfying cup.
