Blind Assessment
Jasmine and spice-forward. Sweetly floral top notes of jasmine, magnolia, and star anise, supported by dried plum, cocoa nib, and pink peppercorn. Bright, layered acidity; satiny mouthfeel. Long, crisp finish, carrying jasmine and cocoa nib notes into the long.
Notes
Produced by Central Sumatera Coffee (CSC), entirely of the Typica variety of Arabica, and processed by the semi-washed method and fermented with jasmine powder and yeast. JBC Coffee Roasters’ vision is simple: “Let the coffee lead the way” through sourcing and roasting the best coffees available and rewarding the farmers who grow those coffees with substantial premiums. Bottom Line
A rare and artful co-ferment that integrates jasmine florals with the natural spice and depth of Sumatran Typica — a harmonious, uniquely composed cup.
