Sweet-toned, quietly lyric. Brown sugar, carob, rose-like flowers, almond, hints of tangerine and cumin in aroma and cup. Round, gentle acidity; full, syrupy mouthfeel. Quietly flavor-saturated finish.
Named after the micro-mill Helsar de Zarcero in the West Valley of Costa Rica, this coffee is made up entirely of the Caturra variety of Arabica and comes from a segregated lot of farmer Manuel “Macho” Arce’s production.
