Roast: Medium-Dark Review Date: March 2004
Origin: Chiclayo Province, northwestern Peru. Price: NA

Blind Assessment: Sweet, richly low-toned, luxuriously fruity, but distinctly musty. The mustiness is the almost effervescent kind that can be charitably read as spice. Cleans up a bit in a long, rather satisfying finish.

Notes: Certified organically grown and shade grown. Moore Coffee is a small retail and wholesale roaster that also offers a range of other fancy foods and beverages through its website. Visit www.moorecoffee.com or call 800-994-8060 for more info.

Who Should Drink It: of musty, aka earthy, Sumatras and Sulawesis.
