Blind Assessment: Mid-toned and complex in the nose with fresh apricot and sweet cocoa. Simplifies slightly in the cup, turning roundly tart in a rich Meyer lemon direction. The immediate finish is slightly sharp, but the long finish smoothes out in a silky lemony, chocolaty trajectory. Notes: Old Tavern Estate is one of a handful of Jamaican farms permitted to process and export its coffee as a distinct estate origin. Roasted on the farm. Visit www.oldtaverncoffee.com for more information. Who Should Drink It: Name droppers with good taste. |
