Blind Assessment: To my palate, one of the finer dark roasts in the cupping. The sweetness is elegantly complex and lemony, lightly rich, almost juicy. A subdued charred bitterness balances the fruity sweetness. Notes: An original and seductive variation on the dark-roast bittersweet theme. Apparently originally designed for Middle-Eastern or "Turkish" brewing, this fruity blend should do splendidly in almost any style of brewer.
