Roast: Medium Review Date: May 2013
Origin: Not disclosed. Price: NT $600/16 ounces

Blind Assessment: Evaluated as espresso. Bright but juicy. Orange, cedar, green grape, vanilla-toned caramel in aroma and small cup. Creamy, effervescent mouthfeel; sweet, long, citrusy finish. Maintains chocolate and orangy citrus character in three parts milk.

Notes: Owned by Jimmy Chang, Black Bar Café is a small franchise located in Taipei City with two locations that specializes in breakfast, light lunches and espresso drinks. Call 886-(0)937-851-422 for more information.

Who Should Drink It: Those who enjoy a rounded, citrusy brightness and impressive, delicately creamy mouthfeel in an elegant straight shot.
