Roast: Medium Review Date: February 1997
Origin: Various Price: NA

Blind Assessment: Given the medium roast, the carbon notes here are a bit of a surprise. Fortunately, the pungent sweetness also characteristic of darker roasts gives the burned, carbon notes some support, and the acidity holds its own until the finish, when it fades into the carbon.

Notes: A medium roast with surprising carbon notes supported by pungent sweetness.

Who Should Drink It: The dry acidity and clear carbon notes are an unusual combination. Latte and cappuccino drinkers who are forced to drink drip might like it. Brewed strong it should hold up against milk and sugar.

Coffee, more so than wine, is a continually changing product. Recent reviews, whether written by Coffee Review or readers, are most likely to reflect current versions of a given coffee.
