Roast: Medium-Dark Review Date: June 2012
Origin: Not disclosed. Price: NT $700/16ounces

Blind Assessment: Evaluated as espresso. Crisp, round, balanced. Fresh-cut cedar, baker’s chocolate, orange, toasted almond in aroma and small cup. Medium body, very lightly syrupy mouthfeel. Dryish, flavor-saturated finish. At its best in two parts milk, where it complexly expresses sweet chocolate and cedar-toned orange.

Notes: Bacca Café is a Taiwanese family-owned small café that roasts its own coffee and bakes its own pastries with great respect for the quality and provenance of green coffees and bakery ingredients. Call +886-6-580-2009 for more information.

Who Should Drink It: Cappuccino drinkers in particular should find this blend attractive, given the elegant way its dry chocolate and zesty orange round and blossom in the milk.
