Roast: Medium Review Date: March 2011
Origin: El Paraiso Department, Honduras. Price: $19.25/12 ounces

Blind Assessment: Soft notes of fruit in the aroma deepen in the delicate, crisply balanced cup, suggesting sweet orange and a lemon-toned cocoa. Silky mouthfeel. Gentle, sweet-toned acidity. A fruit-edged sweetness carries into the finish.

Notes: A prize winner in the 2010 Honduras Cup of Excellence (www.cupofexcellence.org) competition, where as a green (unroasted) coffee it placed seventeenth out of hundreds of entries, attracting a score of 85.25 from an international jury.
